Keegan and Victoria first met in January 2023 in the most unlikely of places, a line dancing outing at Coyote Joes in Charlotte, NC. Their unlikely meeting slowly developed into a friendship, and while they enjoyed going to the gym, grabbing coffee, and taking walks together, their busy schedules kept their relationship from blossoming into a serious relationship until exactly one year later in January 2024.

In the time they have been together, Keegan and Victoria enjoy spending time in God’s word, going on long walks and hikes, exploring nature, cooking, working out, watching movies, reading, playing sports (mostly football), and serving together in their church’s kids ministry.

Keegan proposed to Victoria on September 21, 2024. He had asked Victoria if she wanted to go on a hike at one of their favorite places in Charlotte, the White Water Center. While Victoria had her suspicions, Keegan’s nonchalant attitude along with her mother’s help convinced her that there was no way it was happening that day. Prior to the date at the WWC, he had gone with one of his best friends, Brandon, to find the perfect spot to propose and take pictures. As Keegan and Victoria walked on the trail, Keegan offered Victoria water and pretended to be looking for it in his backpack. Victoria had wandered a few feet further up the trail to admire the scenery ahead when Keegan called her name. She turned to him, and to her absolute surprise he was on one knee holding an engagement ring. She was so excited and jumping up and down that Keegan could barely get the ring on her finger.

Keegan and Victoria are excited to be getting married at the Graylyn Estate in Winston Salem, North Carolina on Saturday, March 15.
